Yearly Exhibition of Realizations by Croatian Architects’ 2007
15 April - 27 April 2008

On the 15th of April 2008 at 6 p.m., at the Plaster Casts Museum venue in Zagreb, the Yearly Exhibition
of Realizations by Croatian Architects’ 2007, organised by the Croatian Architects’ Association for
24 continuous years, since the Zagreb Architects’ Society has for the first time presented the achievements
of Croatian architects in 1984.

This year, Croatian architects have entered for the Yearly Exhibition the total number of 145 authorial
realisations, in Croatia and abroad, by 130 authors with about 200 collaborators. The exhibition
has traditionally not been selected, i.e. it has been left to the selection process of the authors themselves
who freely choose to enter their works. There are only two conditions for participation: membership
in the CAA and realisation during the last year, 2007.

The realizations have been divided into several typologies: individual residential houses, larger residential
structures, residential and business structures, business and public buildings, reconstructions and annexes,
interventions on an architectural historical entity, interventions in public space, interiors and architectural
publications.

The exhibition will be opened by the Minister of Environmental Protection, Physical Planning, and Construction,
Marina Matulović – Dropulić, who will award this year’s winners at the opening ceremony. The presence
of many important persons from Zagreb’s professional and public sphere is expected at the opening.
The exhibition will remain open until April 27th, 2008, and the Čovjek i prostor (Man and Space) magazine
No. 03-04 / 08 will be partly devoted to this important event of Croatian architecture.

At the opening of the Yearly Exhibition of Realisations by Croatian Architects 2007, Croatian Architects’
Association (CAA) will announce the winners of the prizes for the best architectural realisations during
the last year.

The prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
