Originally designed by Sir Owen Williams for The Daily Mail and constructed in 1937 and 1955 the buildings
are Grade A listed as a result of the then innovative use of reinforced concrete structure and the early
use of curtain walled facade.

Most recently occupied by the Herald newspaper the buildings are now being converted into 149 residential
apartments with 2 commercial units and car parking at ground level. The majority of flats utilise the high
overall floor to ceiling heights to maximise daylight in the deep plan as well as provide increased privacy
and storage within contemporary 'loft style' apartments.
